Are you looking for a place to train? We have everything you need. Just show up with your dog , train and have fun.
It's been a while since we've touched base with everyone and want to share what we've been up to!
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected every aspect of our lives. With the city essentially closed, many people have lost jobs and we all miss seeing our friends, family and our dog family!
Small businesses are being hit very hard with the current situation. Sadly, we know that many will not survive the extended closures. The K9 Sports Centre has been a dream come true for us and we are determined to make sure we are around for years to come! The government closure began at the same time as our lease negotiations. This left us with big decisions to make. After many sleepless nights and a lot of "what if" conversations, we have decided to not renew our lease at our Main Street location. In other words.... we're moving! BUT NOT CLOSING!
Our clients, our training and our dream come true would be lost if we were to pay rent for an empty space for what could be months. We've already started looking at properties in the Stittsville/Kanata area and are excited for the future.
What does this mean for you?
If you are currently registered in a class then you are still registered for that class!
If restrictions are lifted before we are ready to open our new doors, we have secured use of an amazing outdoor facility to continue some classes. We will also continue to offer private lessons and outdoor events if restrictions allow.
We also plan on having our CGN test this summer if permitted.
We are continuing to upgrade our equipment and can't wait to move it into our upgraded space!
This was a very difficult decision, however, a necessary one to ensure the longevity of the K9 Sports Centre.
If you have an questions please let us know and if you have any items at our current location please email to arrange pick up.
Stay healthy and keep training! We can't wait to see you again!
